In the CampAIgn Tracker, we analyze all posts on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and X from parties and candidates and selected influencers and commentators for the 2025 Dutch Parliamentary election.
The tracking monitor allows you to see how many AI-generated messages are being spread by which parties. Additionally, we show if AI-Labels are used, what actors are depicted, which topics are discussed and whether the tone is positive or negative.

Overview of Content
Here we show the amount of AI-generated content we identified, broken down by platform, actor type, and (political) affiliation or support direction.
We distinguish accounts officially associated with parties and politicians from other actors without an official party affiliation, such as commentators, influencers, fan pages, and meme pages.
This visualization shows how many AI-generated contents each politician, party, or actor has published. The field size corresponds to the number of identified posts. Larger fields indicate a higher use of AI by the respective party/actor.
This visualization shows how much AI-generated content we found by actor type (e.g., parties, politicians, other actors). Tile size corresponds to the number of identified posts. Larger tiles indicate more AI-generated posts from that actor type.
Share of Posts with and without AI
This graphic shows the relative share of AI-generated content per party. The parties are sorted by the highest share of AI content.
Note: For actors with fewer total posts (including smaller parties), even limited AI use may result in high relative percentages.

Disclosure of AI content through disclaimers or platform labels is crucial for transparency. This visualization shows how often AI-generated content was published with/without disclosures and whether the label was applied by the actor (in text or image) or by the platform.
